DAILY ACTIVITIES

Our learning program offers an informal structured day and our holistic approach towards the individual’s development ensures that each unique child develops at their own pace. We have themes and we plan most of our activities around these themes. Our typical daily programme includes:
  • Breakfast (7:00 – 8:15)
  • Fine motor and learn-through-play activities (threading, colour stacking, shape sorting, sensory challenges, puzzle building, peg boards)
  • Creative time (draw, paint, playdough, papercraft, colouring)
  • Morning circle (Discussing the weather, months of the year, days of the week)
  • Gross motor activities and/or music & instruments (foam draw, balance balls, obstacle courses, rhythm drums, instrument circles, dance)
  • Morning snack
  • Free play on outside playgrounds
  • Gr R & Gr RR: phonics and early reading activities
  • Lunch
  • Storytime
  • Outside play and collection for half-day children
  • Sleep or rest time 
  • Afternoon snack
  • Free play on outside playground until collection
  • Late afternoon snack
